Open Your Eyes PSA 2020

In the midst of racial injustice after the murder of George Floyd, News 6 in Orlando wanted to take a stand and make a statement. Letting our community that we do not tolerate racism of any kind, that we will always use our power for good, and we stand with them no matter what.

What the Honk

Have you ever been driving and saw something that just made you say "What the..?!". Well News 6 and their Traffic Safety Expert Trooper Steve want to see too! We'll show you the good, the bad, and the surprising legal things Florida drivers are getting away with.

Dragon Boat Festival

How do you promote a community event with zero footage? Some willing anchors, a few tracking points, and a lot of very cool animations. This concept got me an Emmy nomination and a certificate of merit from the Colorado Broadcasters Association for Best Public Service Announcement.

When tasked with promoting our morning news anchor as a "working mom" but her kids got sick on the shoot day, it was time to get creative. Thanks to voice memos on your phone, I was able to add them in just enough to get our message across.

Superbleep

This is it, the Denver Broncos are going to the Super Bowl! Time to make the best Super Bowl promos ever created... but... how do we do that without SAYING Super Bowl? I found a way around it and used that to drive viewership to FOX 31 despite the "big game" airing on another network.

What is Getting Results

If you tune into News 6, you're going to hear "getting results"... A LOT. But what does that mean? To us, it's a lot more than a slogan or our brand - it's why we wake up, why we fight to right the wrongs, and why our viewers mean so much to us.

Since our morning news anchor was a new mom, it was time to rebrand and reintroduce her as such. I also wanted to use this opportunity to build her relationship with the working moms that tune in. I let her convey her feelings of being overwhelmed, hoping to create a point of connection to the viewer and to show she's more than just a talking head on the news, she has a real life too!

Starting at Five Image - 2021

It's post-pandemic, things are starting to get back to normal and I needed to let our viewers know we are still here at 5pm for them. It was also important to make sure viewers knew we were committed to providing them with the truth and facts during a time where so many people were questioning the news.
